MY ROLE: Graphic Design, HTML/CSS, UX/UI Design
BRIEF: Design and build a fully responsive website for an imagined small business in the UK as part of my MA program.
SOLUTION: The Bike Shed’s website offers a range of bikes, bike components, and a full workshop for repair needs big and small I created a visual brand for the faux business by first establishing the logo, type and then colour palettes. Then I wrote and collected content, built wireframes and then prototypes in Illustrator and Adobe XD.
When it came to building the site, I aimed to portray a brand that was laid-back, friendly and deeply cool. I created a mobile-first, fully-responsive site with HTML & CSS, JavaScript and jQuery.
